No lump but swelling - extremely nervous

Hi there,

I know I'm probably worrying way too much way too early but I recently noticed my left testicle was abnormally larger than the right. There was no distinct lump but there is definitely swelling. I also have a dull ache that will occasionally radiate up into the abdomen/back.

I went to the doctors to get it checked out, and the doctor also noticed it was swollen but didn't feel a lump. He ordered a priority ultrasound. He said it could be as simple as a hydrocele, but cancer is not ruled out.

I think a lot of my worry now is because my brother was recently diagnosed with TC and just finished going through chemo so its fresh on my mind. I have my ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow morning, so all I can do is wait but I can't help but think of the worst.

Is this experience consistent with anyone's TC diagnosis?
