Gale Shield gone

So I used the Gale Shield to try and get that challenge and I guess it broke. Since that challenge is required for a trophy and that trophy is needed for platinum, I guess i can’t platinum the game anymore unless I replay the whole game. Unless there’s a way to get a new one somehow.

Isn’t that bad game design?
