Lens issue and Ring issues

So, I recieved my pair of g2 glasses and ring last week. They both just disconnects all the time. I put it on unrestricted and even stopped using my phones power saver mode in hopes it would help. I literally need to open the app almost anytime I want to do anything with them besides see my quick list really.

Also the pedometer on the ring is woefully inaccurate? It says I have 18 steps, worn it all day and took it off the charger last night before bed. My watch says I have 11k and been doing a good amount of activity today. Before today it would say between 2k-5k but im a nurse and am very active. My average steps a day are 15k-20k. Its just doesnt make sense.

Lastly, is it normal for where the screen is for it to have a brown tinge and tbh the area where it trasitions is very blurry and bugs my eyes? I was trying to give it time to see if I got used to it but I feel like I only notice it more and more?

I was gonna contact ER but I nust wanted to make sure these products both sound defective and not just how they've been acting for everyone because its newer tech? Thanks for any help and or suggestions!
