How's the job market in SCM right now (UK)? I'm torn between transitioning into SCM or Health Data Science.

Long story short I used to be a Microbiology researcher and have some lab-related procurement experience. And I also could potentially get into Health Data Science since it aligns with my background and prior research.

The supply chain field really appeals to me, but I'm scared I might yet again commit to a field that's oversaturated.

Any advice? Are entry level roles really that hard to come by?
