Seeing that many are still confused with this, Im putting some info to help with what I know from communication with AL customer service so players can avoid losing their access completely or lose days and days with customer service to recover their account.

Which concepts do you need to know?

\- Yostar ACCOUNT: the account is a 12-character value that starts with a Y and 11 numbers following it, so it looks like this: ***Y12345678901*** (Whenever you contact customer service they ask for this number) this number is not found within the game, and you need to log in [https://account.yo-star.com/](https://account.yo-star.com/) for you to be able to see it.

\- Yostar EMAIL: The most basic account to access AL is either your Google Account or your Apple Account email. THIS IS WHERE IT GETS CONFUSING: Either from within the Yostar Account OR from your phone whenever you click on the prompt on the main login screen, you can set an email *WHICH CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM YOUR GOOGLE OR APPLE ACCOUNT!*
and once you do the game indentifies it as a Yostar Email and its the one you have to use to log in to the game.

What do you need to do?

\- Login to [https://account.yo-star.com/](https://account.yo-star.com/) on your computer or phone and enter the email you know or are sure you use for the game, its going to send a validation code in order to log into your account.

IF YOU GET A PROMPT TO CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT: Its not the correct email associated with the game.

IF EVERYTHING IS FINE: you will access the Yostar account dashboard. and you will see the 3 games under the Accounts (AL, Mahjong amd Arknights).

The information in the Azur Lane section HAVE to match with your game profile info and the server where you log in:

Server

UID

Nickname

Commander Lvl

Now that you are in this dashboard you can log in with the other methods that the site offers as an alternative recovery option so your account is extra safe.

I will post some screens to guide you, hope this amount of blabbering be of some help.
