Volume Four thoughts so far

-I'm in the middle of volume 4-

Xie Lian only ascended maybe a month ago (they don't really tell us how much time passed) and already half of heaven is in shambles lol. don't get me wrong, most the cases isn't his fault or anything, but the heavens didn't have a day of peace since he ascended. (my poor baby, I LOVE HIM even though he is proving he is the god of misfortunes lol).

the first case with the ghost groom he exposed Pei Ming. the second with Banyu pass he exiled Pei junior. the third with rescuing the official from ghost city, he sent Lang Qianqiu into a quest to search for Qi Rong for nothing while he is keeping Qi Rong in Puqi shrine and living his best life lol. then we have the fetus ghost which apparently his father is a heavenly official (still wasn't revealed who but Mu Qing is sus). and now with the biggest case yet, the earth master is already dead and gone, the water master was murdered, and the wind master disappeared and he is not a god anymore and became mortal (this is making me so sad because I LOVE the wind master, and I love that finally Xie Lian had a friend in the heavens and a friend that was happy and carefree and will always have Xie Lian's back no matter what, only for all this to happen to him! he really don't deserve any of it)

by the end of the story, only Xie Lian and Jun Wu will be left in the heavens (if Xie Lian didn't get banished again for a third time, I don't think the heaven's will react greatly if they knew about him and Hua Cheng). at this point, is there even one good heavenly official with no secrets and good? Ling Wen probably is next since they are mentioning her alot and how her palace is insufficient and maybe she is involved in covering up alot. Quan Yizhen probably will have a storyline in the future too (I love him so far, his personality is great!).

I actually LOVE Jun Wu and Xie Lian relationship. even though we weren't shown much yet, but I like it, but I don't know why I have this feeling that they may stood opposite in the future! I love how Jun Wu have a soft spot for Xie Lian and would protect him in front of the other officials even though he shouldn't, and he even know about how he is close to Hua Cheng and didn't even say anything. I hope they don't ruin their relationship.
