I want to warmonger all I want without losing my egalitarian/xenophilic policies

There were some isolationist nerds who thought they were too cool to trade with me, and I wanted to make them pay. So I declared them my rivals and started a humilliation war. War was successful, won without worries. However, I couldn't take anything from them.

You see, I want to enforce my presence more, I want to expand the glorious government of the United Nations, but I want to keep the democratic stuff. How can I do that?
