Yamaha NMax 125cc (base or tech max) Vs Yamaha Ray ZR 125cc
I decided to get a new scoot and I'm torn between these three. (My options are somewhat limited where I am but there is a Yamaha stockist and they both come with a 3 year warranty and are easy to get parts for)
I have an older SYM Jet at the moment but it's starting to show it's ages and it's a pain to get parts for. I don't want to put any more money into it so will be getting something else in the very near future.
The Nmax is ~£3700
The Nmax tech max is £3951 (full colour display, connectivity options, sat nav, better seat)
The Ray ZR is £2557
It will be mostly used for commuting around town but will be used for the occasional longer run.
I was recommended the Ray ZR as a cheap commuter but now have my eye on the Nmax for the extra power and build quality. I had a shot of the Ray ZR recently and while it was perfectly fine it felt a little small and slow but it would be absolutely fine for what I need it for. The Nmax may be overkill for my needs but the extra power and better overall quality wouldn't go a miss.
Any experience, bad or good with these bikes? .
Cheers
