potassium citrate

hi all, i (26f) recently had 2 stones pass (2mm each) in the span of 2 months. my last stone prior was 9 years ago! i went in to see my urologist and did the 24 hour urine test and my citrate levels came back very low (250) i’m going to be put on potassium citrate at 1080mg twice a day. what’s y’all’s experience with this? also, how do you all go about your daily lives knowing one day you could just fall on the ground and start screaming in pain. i’m so sad rn and needing some advice
