Epic Game Support is Useless ðŸ˜
I had to make this post as it is actually laughable how terrible their support team is. They are so uninformed and the just lie to end the conversation quicker. Here is a few stories of recent experiences I've had with the support team:
The new "Unstoppable" emote on the team battles website:
I didn't know that the new Unstoppable emote will not be obtained until May 14th earliest so after completing the quests and not receiving the emote after 24 hours I contacted support as I had trouble with the enticing pie emote. I told support that I had finished my badges on the website and received all the rewards but the emote so the agent told me they wanted screenshot proof while they "investigate it".
After providing the screenshots they told me that everyone eligible for the emote had already received it and that i had just not met the requirements yet and after asking them what these supposed "requirements" are, they told me they can't share that information. So they just straight up lied to me because no one has the emote yet.
MSK damage but on STW:
I contacted them about the major damage glitch on the MSK bossfight as they had not posted anything publicly that I could find regarding the issue. After contacting support about this they told me "we haven't received any complaints regarding this issue" which is complete bull as it had been out for a month or maybe longer and I seen people complaining about it everywhere. Then they told me to use the in game bug report feature (which is already terrible might I add as they don't let you put a description or information on the bug besides a screenshot that could mean literally anything) so I told them you literally can't take a screenshot of the damage using the in game bug report feature as the screenshot takes itself instantly whilst your menu is up so that was why I was reporting it through email but they still insisted I use the in game bug report.
The worst part about this was as the chat was about to end and after that had ensured me that Epic hadn't heard anything about this bug, they sent me a link to a reply they made on X (so not even an official post) saying they were investigating the issue and this reply was posted 1 day prior to me contacting them they their support team had no idea about it.
No wonder their "bills are high" they've hired a bunch of people who just lie and don't bother actually investigating people's problems.
