Job recommendations?
Does anyone know of any good places that are hiring to apply to. I am from Memphis and just moved back after living out of state for 2.5 years and need a job to get on my feet.
I have fairly equal amounts of experience in retail & food customer service, housekeeping, and warehouse/factory work. I'm down to in warehouse/factory again, but I would struggle to manage the work life balance of overnight shifts so options are limited by that, FedEx seems to mainly want overnight or super early morning with very few hours. I'm really interested some kind of housekeeping/environmental services job for something like a hospital, university, office, etc... My housekeeping experience is mainly in private home housekeeping but a more institutional cleaning job would be good if they'll hire without that specific experience. And I'll do food/retail service if it's what takes me, just looking for recommendations and ideas for places that are reliably hiring. I am looking mainly in Midtown/Cooper Young, Crosstown, and possibly medical district/downtown. I'd like to make $450-$500 a week but I know not everywhere pays that much at my level of experience and for the types of jobs I'm qualified for. Eventually I'd love to get a trade program apprenticeship but it'll be a while before I get to that point so just need something for now to pay the bills.
Thanks for reading, I know this is a basic question and I am looking for places to apply myself and applying to as much as I can but any tips on where to find more or recommendations for places that are actively and reliably hiring would be really great!
