“Dress for the slide not the ride” - credit to the guy that commented on my last post. Looking for gear as a first time rider

Looking into getting gear for the summer. Was wondering if y’all got some good recommendations. Looking for something breathable and low profile that’ll still provide the protection for the slide. My plan would be to wear something pretty tight and then my work shirt (high vis long sleeve) over it so you can’t really see it. I personally never seen gear that looks good😂. Back in high school I got pretty bad road rash from riding an electric bike going about 30mph so I don’t even want to imagine the burn from riding a motorcycle.
