Low-commitment leadership role for high schoolers - help spread CPR awareness, save lives, AND get a real title
Hi everyone, I'm the founder of the HeartStart Generation, a youth-led nonprofit working to reduce deaths from sudden cardiac arrest through CPR training and heart health education. Every year, 356,000 Americans have cardiac arrests outside a hospital, and survival rates TRIPLE when a bystander steps in. We already have a strong presence locally, and are trying to expand! We're looking for high schoolers across the country to serve as Chapter Leaders at their schools. Because we're in the early stages of growth, you will have a significant role. What it would involve:
- Host a few events at your school, or surrounding schools (CPR demos, health awareness tables, etc.) We provide all the resources and support; all you do is set it up
-Flexible, low time commitment.
- Official title at a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is great for college apps
-You'd be making a real difference AND building your resume at the same time.
