2010 vw eos, first car??

hi! its been a couple years now ive been searching for a car that ticks most of my boxes without being toooo picky, and im very close to buying an eos!
for some background, ive worked in an automotive shop going on two years and im about to go into my second year of college for a mechanics license. im 18, finished school early to pursue automotive.
my shop sees a lot of different vehicles since we are not a dealership, including tons of VW, and 2 of the techs at work are ride or die for vw. not to mention a dealership in town.

this car has a clean title, 2010, 135,000km, sold certified, 9.8k$, summers & winters on rims, seen videos of the hardtop, but its in the gta (i live in the rust belt, ontario) so body looks pretty mint, however if i go to look at it i plan to leave with it, unless the thing is a lemon.
auto, black leather seats, original white paint
same owners since off the lot, old people selling cuz it was their fun car and they just bought an amg so definitely dont need the eos

im mostly concerned about issues with the DSG and hard top leaks, stalls, etc
but if its not a lemon, with a little automotive experience, connections, no labour cuz do my own lol, and discounted parts, is it a worthy buy??
also, important things to check out upon viewing the vehicle?
