The Caves of Altamira by Steely dan minecraft parody

first parody.... pretty happy with the results...

I recall when I first spawned

How I spent my days alone

The villages were not for me

So I went and built my own

I would climb the mountain wall

With a torch held in my hand

I'd dig inside a hole of rock and sand

On the shaft a wooden sign

Oh the creepers all so green

Overworld's a blocky wonder

Far lands told but never seen

Here or Nether bound to mining

From the bedrock to the sky

Every mob and villager

A friend as square as I

Before the patch when we used plain wooden signs

When there wasn't even any cherry wood

They mined the craft

And they wrote it on the sign

For you and me we understood

Can it be this chunk's design

Could be the very same

A white eyed man, a scary face

And a ghast without a flame

Nothin' here but mangrove trees

Can you see what has been worn?

Armor's heavy over me

Now I step into the mine

Before the patch when we used plain wooden signs

When there wasn't even any cherry wood

They mined the craft

And they wrote it on the sign

For you and me we understood

Before the patch when we used plain wooden signs

When there wasn't even any cherry wood

They mined the craft

And they wrote it on the sign

For you and me we understood
