Mic volume is very low in-game

Yo guys,

I’m having an issue where my microphone volume is extremely low only in Dota 2, but it works perfectly fine everywhere else (Discord, Windows, recordings, etc.).

I’ve already gone through a lot of recent posts looking for solutions and tried all the common fixes mentioned there, but nothing has worked so far.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

• Checked Windows Settings > Sound > Input, correct mic selected
• Turned off input enhancements and adjusted volume as suggested in similar posts
• Disabled all Discord voice processing (noise suppression, echo cancellation, etc.)
• Reset all in-game voice settings
• Reinstalled Dota 2 completely
• Used console commands like voice_loopback 1
• Tried a different microphone entirely
• Steam voice settings are also set correctly and the microphone is set to 100% there

Still, the issue remains the same: my mic is normal everywhere except in Dota 2, where it’s extremely quiet.

At this point I’ve basically run out of ideas 😞
If anyone has run into something similar or has deeper troubleshooting ideas?
I’d really appreciate it.
