Restoring ovulation with unopposed estrogen?

Fertility

Any advice on what helped you restore ovulation if you had chronic anovulation?

I have relatively normal insulin, if I’m resistant it’s very minimally or my ovaries are just very sensitive to any insulin.

My androgens are within range.

I lose weight easily and am just barely overweight by bmi. When I was significantly overweight, I did have high testosterone, DHEAS and insulin resistance.

I do have polycystic ovaries.

But I don’t ever get my period or ovulate. I’ve been spotting for 2 months straight. Labs show my estrogen is on the high end of normal but my progesterone was 0.1.

I’m planning on inducing my cycle with provera as I normally do, but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to actually restore ovulation. They always say to lose weight and eat low carb/low sugar which I am. I’ve lost 40 lbs since diagnosis 6 years ago and had two babies through letrozole. But between ttc, I live in this land of spotting and unopposed estrogen and I’m burnt out. Any advice?
