Help wanted

details:

I'm creating a long hallway lined with rooms of chests (as shown in screenshot, but only two rooms), to store a double chest of every item. Meaning each chest should be filled with ONE type of unique item that differs from every other chest both in that room and any other room.

there is a long long long line of rooms, over 1000 different chests and I think over 70 rooms currently (rooms to be added later). meaning I cant have items despawning over these long distances, or the system breaking if left in an unloaded chunk.

the tinted black glass between the rooms is where the sorting system should go, that width can be expanded

sorting system between chests:

im trying to find how could I fit a system between the rooms (shown in video seperated by the glass) that sorts items into those chests? IMPORTANT: i have an item filter already planned that transports blocks to their corresponding room

The issue is how do I transport those filtered items (when they get to their corresponding room) to its chest?

I am able to expand the width of the glass to fit a larger system, just not to the extreme to where the space between the room outsides the room itself

summary: what type of sorting system OR item transferer could i put between the rooms?

my past idea was using copper golems (how expensive the project is doesnt matter), but most of the time they would be between 18-10 chests (as they are in the walls / the black tinted glass)ruining their efficiency as they can only remember at most 10 chests

is the best system just making my walls thicker/wider so copper golems could work efficiently? or is there some better method

notes: pls tell me if I need to add any details or expand on something, or if theres another server i can ask
