My best friend is dead

It wasn’t even her fault. Driver just couldn’t stay in their lane, dumbass decision costed them her life
I was just with her like two days before her passing
It’s insane to me
She wasn’t even 19 for two months
She just finished her first year of university she wanted to become a wildlife biologist
It’s so disorienting
She called me the night before to come down the dormitory to say goodbye bc she was moving out and I was too busy studying to do so
I regret it, I regret it so much I should’ve went down to say goodbye I don’t know why I didn’t we were supposed to dorm next year and everything
I always thought it would be a see you later not a goodbye
