Am I being too scared or am I in the right?

So I’ve (M21) made a post here recently, and I’ve told my story about how I am very anxious and trying to get over my fear of driving. I got my license about five months ago and a lot of people were shocked to hear that my cities driving test is in a parking lot.

Long story short, but I’m looking for a car and some of the only affordable ones that I’ve been able to find are like 100 or 150 miles away from me.

Me and my brother and my friends have all been trying to look for one, but they are all far away and my friends and me are kind of arguing because they’re telling me that even though I’ve never been on a main road or a highway or interstate that I’m being too scared and I just need to go get one of these cars

I just feel like that’s a bit much to go on the interstate, highway, another state for somebody that has never even drove across my town
