Modding SKMEI to a 5600?

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone has tried modding a SKMEI watch (the ones that look like a Casio 5600) using parts from AliExpress.

Specifically, I’m thinking about keeping the SKMEI internals/module, but swapping the outer case, bezel, and strap for parts designed for a DW-5600.

Has anyone managed to get a good fit doing this? Or found housings/cases on AliExpress that work well with SKMEI insides?

I’m mainly after something that looks closer to a real 5600, but using the SKMEI guts as a base.

Any advice, part links, or things to watch out for would be appreciated.
