Recommended Quest Order?

Just wondering of its recommended to focus on key quests or go through and clear every 1* then 2* and so on? Or maybe something else entirely?

Are Hub quests worth doing for early progression at all or is it better to stick to Village quests?

Sorry if thia has been asked before.
