transfer data, save

Ok, so if i like can i transfer save data between two accounts on the same PS4, right, can i just use a usb to copy save data from account A? Then log out of both account a and account B (my target account), and then log in with the same account for account a and copy the saved data to account B, and then log out and log in with the actual account b email. i feel like it would work. old email that has account btw is kind of my old one so I want to move on while keeping my progress.
