Anyone taking Myfembree for PMDD?

Medications

Hello! I wanted to see if anyone can share their experience with Myfembree for treating PMDD. I have PCOS and PMDD. I don't get my period at all unless I take 10 days of progesterone to induce a withdrawal bleed. Even then, I usually only have about a week of "good days" until the PMDD starts. And if I don't induce a bleed I become a raging monster that thinks I need a divorce (my poor, very sweet husband).

I have tried everything to help the PMDD. All different combinations of SSRI's, SNRI's, Wellbutrin....you name it and I've probably tried it. This is why I contacted my OB about "shutting down" the ovaries to see if this helps the wild mood swings. Also, my new reproductive psychiatrist flat out told me that no amount of medication would help the problem much and shutting down the ovaries (and eventually getting rid of them) would be the next best choice.

So here I am on day 2 of Myfembree. I was nervous to start it because of side effects both serious and mild. Ultimately I decided I needed to try because I will never know if it will help if I don't and my current method is not working at all. I am also just coming off a bleed so naturally I am in a better place emotionally. Yesterday and today I was SO interested in sex. Let me tell you, this is rare since having a child and dealing with PMDD almost all the time. I really doubt it was from the pill since the pill says it will probably do the opposite (low libido) but, WOW, I couldn't get enough. However, I am feeling pretty irritated with my 5 year old and now I'm worried the mood shifts are already creeping in and that none of this is worth it. Do I just need to give it time for my body to adjust? Ride out these initial mood shifts and see if my usual PMDD goes away?

I would love to hear anyone else's experience. There aren't too many posts about it on here, most are in the Endo thread. Thanks!!
