PvPvE Map Condition Idea: "Supply Convoy" Mode (nicknamed "Milk Run")

Discussion

## "Supply Convoy" Mode

(nicknamed "Milk Run"): A PvPvE mode/map condition.

A large team of multiple duos, trios, and random solos all get teamed together into 2-to-3 teams of 6-to-9 players (map max *seems* to be 18 Raiders simultaneously) on a map condition with three types of highly valuable, *carriable* loot scattered amongst Medium and High Value loot zones, and dropped by boss ARC.

- The first is: let's call it a "Super Capacitor". There's no putting it in your inventory or Safe Pocket, but you can still run while holding it when it takes up both of the Weapon Slots in your inventory. It periodically makes noise, glows, catches fire, or causes electrocution while in an Augment.

- The second is: let's call it an "ARC Codec". It's the fuel for the next special loot item, (it may be feasible for this to fit in a Looting Mk. 3 "Safekeeper" Augment Safe Pocket).

- The third is: let's call it an "ARC Resynthesizer Fragment". It's an extremely valuable item (20K+) that can be combined with tens of other "ARC Resynthesizer Fragments" to create a "Resynthesizer Array" that the refiner can use for a limited-use Legendary upgrade. It can: 1, create any Blueprint in the game (as long as you've held the recipe's crafted item before), 2, create a Legendary weapon attachment (since they don't have Blueprints), or 3, create a Legendary Augment (like having a built-in Snap Hook, or temporary resistance to environmental status effects).

All players will start separately from each other, with no identification of other players, except for partied duos and trios indicators. There's no way to identify what Contrada neighborhood any other player is from (unless you pull a Merchant Squad/Bungulator-esque tribal marking honor system). The loot is needed for your respective neighborhood of Speranza (or another Contrada) to progress a new ranked system. This system functions like the combination of Community Events, Trials, and Raider Feats. Where value from individual citizen's Raider Stashes, donated supplies, returned loot value from raids, and achieving specific goals in-raid, all increase a communal score that has actual benefits for what your Contrada neighborhood will have (like how Trials can unlock Blueprints, award items, and unlock exclusive cosmetics). There will always be more loot than all players can carry, but only so much can fit in the Extract at any time. And whenever two of the loot items are near each other, Large and Boss ARC spawn from orbit about every minute (or *something* like that) to recapture the loot from you. The Extracts only activate with at least two of the special loot items. Raider Hatches will activate temporarily with only one (and a Raider Hatch Key), but the loot won't fit inside the Raider Hatch without at least two Raiders to get it in. Key Rooms are still active, and have an increased minimum loot value, with a guarantee of having a special loot item as well.

Every player that successfully extracts gets paid Raider Coins and Raider Cred based on how they did, but you are required to pay Raider Coins and Raider Cred to even queue at all. And there's three leaderboards, two for individuals (one for your respective Contrada neighborhood, and one for the entire playerbase), and one for every Contrada neighborhood versus every other Contrada neighborhood. There's also a mechanic to defect from your Contrada neighborhood, and join another Contrada neighborhood. Which I refer to as "Going out for Milk", hence the "Milk Run" nickname for the game mode. It can *only* be done in this mode (like the tutorial extract to join Speranza), and ensures sufficient risk to griefing any single player who's on your team, while also potentially rewarding cooperation with rivals.

This was inspired by the "Point Break" mode from The FINALS.
