So my roommate started freaking out and now I am on my own path to that. I’m /sick/. I’ve had horrible luck at jobs this past year until this most recent one and I’ve been talking to a middle man (my mother) whom talks to the landlord, about rent and the like, I have not known where his head is at on the agreement. No actual contract, no actual verification of price by him, run down place fr, sink isn’t fully fixed up, shower drainage not fully fixed up, fire hazards(electrical AND gas). On top of that my mother stole the recent money for him and he just off hand mentioned thinking about putting a 3 day notice after knocking on the door, KNOWING she stole the money, no calls, no 24 hr notices, no mention of the money directly to me the various other times I was in his presence, and me having someone JUST move in (I told the roommate the house issues prior to moving in, again no communication from landlord directly prior to this move in, no issues) and the landlord knowing they were going to move in. Mind you my mother was talking about them potentially getting me set up in a duplex before even moving me to this place, I remembered that after getting moved in here of course. I know there’s squatters rights, contract or no, slum lord or no, what legalities can HE face if a notice were to be placed or such? From the jump legally I should’ve been informed this place technically shouldn’t be inhabited due to safety issues.
