PC shutdown in gaming when not using Framegen, what PC parts does this affect?
5070ti

32GB RAM
2TB SSD
850 PSU
360MM AIO
Windows 11

My PC shuts down after if I don't use framegen. For example in Resident Evil Requiem, I have DLAA Pathtracing on and if I don't use framegen than my PC will shut down after a bit of playing. But when I have framegen X2 on than it doesn't shut down.
Similar case for Space Marine 2, my setting were all max with 90 fps cap and in the Inferno OP mission, I had over 10 PC shutdowns on that mission usually between a few minutes to almost 10 minutes before my PC shutdowns so I wasn't able to complete that mission until I set the cap from 90fps to 60fps and turn on framegen.
When my PC shuts down from these, it doesn't turn back on and sometimes I'll need to wait a bit before I can turn the PC back on. The RGB light on the ram would still be on though.
So in both games framegen x2 prevented my PC from shutting down. Anyone know why would this be, is framegen x2 less demanding on certain hardware?
I'm happy I somewat fixed the problem but it still sucks that it's not a complete fix since my rig should be more than enough for these games even on these settings.
