Concrete screws query

My wooden floor creaking was recently improved by a builder who put packing between the wooden joists and concrete floor. 2 few days ago we tried to get rid of the last of the creaks, and put concrete screws through the joists and into the concrete, now 2 days later some surrounding floorboards are making very loud horrible clunking noise.

I assume the right thing to do here is to remove all the concrete screws?
