The Biggest Oxymoron in the Vet Community

I've been out for over 12 years and I rarely do veteran related stuff, post about my service etc.

Every time I'm online and see ANYTHING posted whether its pics of bootcamp, guys in the field, on a deployement etc there is just an onslaught of comments about how everyone is soft now, all these kids don't deserve recognition, they are all 'woke' etc.

I especially see it from all these hardo type accounts talking about how badass they are but that they're also a 'humble warrior' and how if you weren't in when they were in or did what they did you 'didn't do shit'.

Then I see the exact same accounts doing these big posts about how veteran suicide is such an issue that needs to be solved etc. Do these people realize they're part of the problem?

Just a little vent here. But at least online, I am completely disenfranchised with the vet community and don't really want anything to do with it. Anyone else having the same experience?
