is it worth it
I'm skinny-fat, coming in at 5'11 and weighing 140-145lbs, and I've been resistance training for more than a year.
For starters, I eat pretty healthy right now. I eat as much as I feel I need to be energized throughout the day without ever overdoing it. I also don't really have any swaps to be making; there's no bag of chips or soda, etc etc. My main issue is that I have no control over my dinner, but they do tend to be pretty healthy and filled with veggies and protein!
All this is mostly excuses, though. I know weight loss isn't easy for anyone. However, the area I need help with is that fact that I always 'fail' because I just don't know if it's worth it? I'm not unhealthy as I'm active and I feel great. I just have a pretty big stomach that I really want to get rid of, so that I can feel like I can trust that I am taking care of myself properly. However, when I try to cut calories, I feel miserable. My brain can't function, my limbs are shaky, and in moments I'm getting hangry. All of this would be fine if I were lazing around, but I have work, school, and I want to exercise (obviously).
Is it always gonna be like this? Have any of you had this, lost the weight, and felt better? I don't care about appearances much, I mostly just want to feel healthier. Do you feel healthier? Or do you feel sluggish, tired, and weak?
