Why are creators & artist so anti-AI?

TDLR:
Creators should make their content, then use ai to refine it and make it look resplendent, pristine, and high quality.
This will allow small teams to efficiently put out content on the level of major studios & top tier artist in record time.

Explanation
I perfectly understand why someone wouldn’t like art, music, movies, video games, etc made 100% by AI; there’s no soul in it and there’s less reason to respect it, additionally it often spit out generic content.

My issue is that many independent creators (in art, video games, animation, etc) have taken a stance of extreme anti-ai sentiment and avoid any use of AI like the plague!

I think AI could allow start ups, fan-animation studios, and video game creators to produce high level content rapidly—allowing them to compete with high budget studios.

Real examples of the non-use of AI problem

  1. Tedious art holds back creativity which ai could solve:
In the Dragonball tournament of power:
Cool characters like cell were not selected because of the tedious nature of drawing him in thousands of frames with all of his complex spots on his body.

  2. High quality fan animation is held back
A fan studio called Studio Arche has been producing high quality—high budget studio level episodes of the anime Berserk on YouTube. However due to the financial cost of production and limited hands to work on projects, it takes them roughly 2 yrs to produce just ONE episode. They plan to produce one season. AI use could help speed up this process significantly.

My proposal
I think story plot, character & art design, choreographing scenes, and core aspects of a story should be human made.
I think AI should be used by creators to take over tedious work that slows down production speed of content. Think of things like drawing vast mundane backgrounds, shading & coloring characters, smoothing out frames, creating complex natural effects (wind, dust particles, natural phenomena, etc).
