What are these things?

Again, sorry for not bringing screenshots. I always think about it too late and forget. I was playing with a Nyx and three things caught my attention:

1. Her Nautilus was freely flying around. (I googled it and found out it's a mod called Duplex Bond, so I already answered this one hehe)
2. She had something that looked like Wisp reservoirs, but there was only one... And it would stay open, like the petals were opened/downwards, then it would close again and I didn't understand what it does. On the minimap, it was marked with a white symbol with a line underneath it.
3. Out of nowhere, next to the Nyx, a character called Locen appeared. She looked like Maroo and had a purple outfit, but it didn't look like the Cephalon Suda crew outfit. She really looked like Maroo wearing purple clothes. I remember she kept shooting and saying she didn't know how to handle the weapon. What is that and how do you do it?

Sorry again for not bringing screenshots, the mission was really quick and I genuinely didn't think about it at the time. :>
