He planned to make Michael kill his brother by using the Fredbear plush

So they could rebrand Freddy's and open with the Security Puppet as the only guardian of Charlie to kill her when she got bullied (Bullying which HE PLANNED)

With Charlie dead he knew he could murder the MCI and she would bring them back

After the MCI died and the paranormal rumors, he knew Freddy's would close again, and he could expand Afton Robotics and Entertainment & Rentals

He also knew the new and improved Freddy's of 1987 would open, so he could have the opportunity to do the DCI and worsen the reputation and rumors about Fazbear

With Elizabeth dead in their basement, he knew Mike would set his creations free from his bunker after he asked him to

He planned to send Michael to get scooped and free his creations, placing his keycard inside Circus Baby

He let himself be springlocked and closed the saferoom on himself so Michael would not find him for the next few years

He knew that after all the speculation and stories he caused they would open an horror attraction and find him

He knew Mike would try to set him on fire, knowing he would fail and setting him free
These actions also intentionally are done so Henry would realize what happened while doing his personal recordings, so he would reopen the franchisee for FFPS

Afton lets himself burn and become immortal by TOYSNHK, until eventually turning into a giant trash agony monster or whatever the game only equivalent is

Every event in the timeline was planned by the Purple Guy

William placed his Keycard in Baby knowing 1:1 what would happen to Michael in the events of Sister Location. OrchestraVictim is canon.
