I’m tired of comments about how skinny I am. I don’t care if they mean it as a compliment or are concerned! It’s SO inappropriate…
I’m 35. Have always been tiny. 5’2, 94lbs. Healthy diet. Every test under the sun, colonoscopy, GENETIC TESTING (literally my doctor couldn’t figure this out), lift heavy, minimum 3500 cals a day for the last 15 years, had a 10lb baby, had an oversupply and nursed him for two years exclusively (could have fed the military with the production I STG), regular menstrual cycles and blah blah blah. My cancer surviving friend suggested I just tell people I have cancer, let em sit with it, process it, feel like absolute rubbish for commenting on my weight and then tell them, “I guess next time you’ll keep comments about people’s weight to yourself right?” Sigh. I think I might take her approach, as unhinged as it is.
