Watkins Glen is gonna be an absolute mess this weekend.

I live 25 minutes from the track. We’ve had rain straight for weeks. It’s a muddy mess at the track. It’s been roughly 40-50 degrees high during the days and 25-30 degrees at night. I don’t know what nascar is thinking booking the Glen in the first week of may instead of August as it’s always been traditionally run. Usually the race is sold out before the race weekend and they still haven’t sold the race out and it’s certainly atypical of the Glen weekend. I’m betting nascar doesn’t schedule next years Glen race this early in the spring next year. It’s gonna be cold, muddy and the fans are gonna have a hell of a time getting campers in and out of the camping sections with all the mud in the infield and around the track.
