[Research] Bachelor's thesis survey on AI use & psychological factors

Hi everyone,

I want to start by saying how much I respect this community and

the work each of you is doing. I'm posting in good faith and have

read your rules carefully, so please remove this if it's not

appropriate.

I'm a final-year psychology student writing my Bachelor's thesis

on personality traits how they relate to people experiencing

AI chatbots.

Why do I think this research matters?

The voices in communities like this one are exactly the voices that

academic research has been missing. So much AI research focuses on

benefits and ignores the real harms people have experienced. I want

my thesis to take those experiences seriously and contribute to the

academic understanding of why some people are more vulnerable

than others.

About the survey:

- Completely anonymous (no names, no emails, no IP tracking)

- 20-25 minutes

- For ages 18-30

- For academic purposes only, no media, no journalism

I will not:

- Encourage AI use in any way

- Make light of anyone's experiences

- Use any data outside of my thesis
