I wish more British Folklore was added in The Books

Discussion

As some people know, J.K. Rowling drew heavily from British and wider European folklore when constructing the magical world of Harry Potter. Many creatures, magical practices, and even cultural assumptions in the wizarding world are rooted in centuries-old traditions from the British Isles.

Example: Pixies, Fairies, Goblins, Werewolves, The Grim, Hippogriffs, Inferi, Flying Brooms, Wizards in Society, etc.

I wished more things like:

- Fairy Rings

- The Wild Hunt

- Samhain

- Barrow and Cairn Magic

- Changelings

- Herne the Hunter

- Knockers

- Selkies

- Will-o’-the-Wisps

- The White Horse Traditions

- The Cunning Folk, etc

And much more concepts were added by Rowling. It would have been useful to complement Worldbuilding as to introduce The Folklore to Foreign readers.
