Really hate the new accounting manager role I took since I was lied to

It’s been approximately a month that I took the risk to get an accounting manager role at what I thought was a big company. Anywho, the first week I’m told they are outsourcing the entire accounting department and I’m replacing the controller who over extended himself doing everything.

I don’t have any team members to talk to. The couple of people in India I have are absolutely worthless. They don’t know anything but just how to book the entry. Overall, what I thought would be a growth period for me has left me broken. I left a really good company with an amazing team with so much structure. Now I’m supposed to replace a guy with 8 years of institutional knowledge and just keep carrying on.

I’m really upset in general, I only have 2 people in a different state in FP&A and are really of no help. If I left tomorrow this company effectively has no accounting team/ function.

What would you say I should do?
