Scene setup (pov 1): you're looking through some stalls, when you spy a strange duo standing by one of the stalls, one of them is an elven noble and the other...is a human? When you get closer you can see that the human has several scars and looks malnourished.

Scene setup (pov 2): you're running a stall when a strange duo comes up to you, looking to buy your product. one of them is an elven noble and the other...is a human? When they get closer you can see that the human has several scars and looks malnourished.

(For context, on this continent humans are almost extinct, the ones that did survive are mostly working/locked up in noble homes, humans are rarely seen by the public. This is the same world as Amarathine's but different continent)
