Has anyone had a hernia surgery with a toddler?

I recently discovered that I have an epigastric hernia and will be needing surgery to fix it. I also have a 19 month old, and I do all the morning getting up, getting him into his high chair, out of the crib, into the car seat etc. Obviously I know I'll be needing help but I'm trying to plan for how much help 😅 I'm still waiting for a surgeon to call me and schedule it, but so far I've heard no lifting over 20lbs for anywhere from 2 - 8 weeks. Any advice appreciated!
