Is fetlife really the place to meet fellow abdls?

Ive seen recommended in so many subs to try fetlife to find people but ive honestly had no luck. Maybe its different in the US compared to where i am in the UK but honestly ive had no luck :( maybe i just care to much about looks and trying to find someone im actually attracted to but even then i haven’t met anyone in the community. I cant even find any events.
