Huion Pen will Draw while Hovering if I apply too much Pressure

Hello, I own a Kamvas 13 Gen 3 and it came with a battery-free pen, I don’t know what version of the pen though. I bought it less than a month ago, and haven’t done anything to drop or damage the pen, however if I apply a little too much pressure while drawing it will draw thin lines all over while I’m hovering. This wouldn’t necessarily be an issue but it’s been happening occasionally even without heavy pressure application and while using CSP I can’t use the undo button on my tablet while my pen is still “drawing” so it becomes annoying as I can’t use the rest of the functions properly. Does anyone have a fix for this?? I’ve already replaced the pen nib, restarted my laptop, and reinstalled the driver, it’s still doing it. Am I just gonna have to buy a new pen?
