Struggling to understand the MMR/ matchmaking system in ranked.
I understand that there is a hidden elo/ MMR system outside of your actual rank, and I appreciate that is why I am put in lobbies with plats consistently even when I was still S3.
My question is more about the fact my team consistently seems to be made up of lower rated players than the enemies, and whilst I lose less RR from losing these matches compared to what I gain from winning them, it still feels quite hard to rank up when put into these lobbies.
Is there anything at all I can do about this? Or just hope it all averages out in the long term?
