Foreigners & Natives working in Japan creative industries (design, fashion, beauty, media)

Hey folks,
I’m very interested in hearing personal stories from people working in Japan’s creative fields, both foreigners/expats and Japanese natives.

Especially curious about entertainment like modeling, videography and event media, design and fashion roles such as graphic design, video editing and fashion photography, beauty work like makeup and hairstyling, and similar areas.

If you’re in these fields, I’d love to know how you got started in Japan, how things are going now with clients, income and balance, which skills from home transferred best, any unexpected skills or cultural things that mattered a lot, and one piece of advice you’d share.

I’m mainly looking for personal experiences from people who’ve actually worked in these fields, not general opinions or guesses from people without direct experience.
