How do I take care of my assignment

Long story short, I (m15) forgot to turn something in. It was only a day late though. Me and my parents have this deal where if I have no missing assignments by the end of the week I may have my devices. I asked my teacher about when he's going to grade the assignment and he said Sunday. I wrote him an email explaining my situation. I don't know what to do I want my devices. Is there anything I can do to convince my parents or my teacher to let this one go?
