EGO 30” Mower - What Can I Answer For You?

I just picked up this mower from Ace, pulled the trigger on it because of a 30% discount through the state of Colorado. I wasn’t aware of the discount until I added the item to my cart, so you may check if you are eligible for something similar.

I will be mowing my yard with it over the next few weeks, looking to give you feedback for anyone researching this mower. I was in the same situation, and I found many of others posts helpful.

My lawn situation:
Approx 10K square foot northern lawn, mixture of fescue, blue grass, and rye.

I have a 42” riding mower currently. This is where I’m really experimenting with downsizing my mower. I know this will slow down my mowing time, but I’m trying to free up my limited space, and improve my ease of maintenance (especially removing blades for sharpening and deck cleaning), all at the cost of taking a little longer to mow.

I traditionally bag my clippings, I have a lot of pine needles that fall to collect. I have tried mulching in the past, but I never had success with my current mower, as it would leave piles of clippings everywhere and quickly fouled up the deck.

Please let me know if there is anything about the mower itself, or the performance of the mower or batteries you have. I will report back on my experience, and see if I can answer any specifics you might have. Thanks!
