996 o2 sensor removal help

Hey all,

Have a 2001 996 C2 that has a downstream o2 sensor that is throwing a CEL, so I got a pair of Bosch replacements. The upstream sensors look like a breeze but the downstream ones, while easy to access with the airbox out, seam like a total bitch to actually get loose-even with a o2 socket and crows foot. I have a 7" 22mm wrench, but still seems too tight to maneuver. Any tips?
