Just me?

For my fellow single saphics: Is it just me, or does nothing make you feel your singleness more keenly that getting sick or injured? I got bitten by a dog today while I was making deliveries, bleeding, dog owner went inside and slammed the door, cops never showed up after calling them, waited like an hour and a half and gave up, got it bandaged up and went back to work. The world feels so cold and uncaring. I really wish I had a partner who would provide comfort and support, especially at times like this. So much for being a tough butch lmao.
