I won the first metal and rock showdown at Wave Warz 44 last weekend. The win was solid, but the system behind it is the real story.

Wave Warz is a early-stage music platform and community experimenting with AI, blockchain, and direct to fan interaction all at once as a live environment.

In featured battles, two artists go head to head. Tracks play back to back while the audience listens, votes, reacts to judge feedback, and trades on the outcome like a market. You can feel momentum shifts in real time, and donate direclty to artists as well.

It changes how a track lands. It is not just about whether people like it. It is about how strongly they back it.

That same system handles payouts instantly. I watched my payout from winning paid out right after the battle closed. No delay.

As far as AI goes, you can have AI involved in the process, even in the judging layer, but there is still a line being drawn in some cases. The upcoming tournament is separating AI and non AI artists.

That tension is part of it. The tools are already mixed into how music gets made, but the culture is still deciding how to treat that.

It is early. Rough in places. But it is one of the more interesting systems I have seen trying to figure this out in public.
