Bringing someone to Hawaii for their first time.

I have been to Hawaii 8 times over my lifetime but I will be bringing someone who has never been in early 2027. My intent is to be in Hilo for the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival and Craft fair for maybe three days, then over to an overnight at the Volcano House then to Kona for snorkeling with mantas. Now comes the tough part do we spend another week on Maui or split that next week between Maui and Kauai? Don't want it to be too hectic. Thoughts?
